1. Information We Collect
We collect minimal data necessary to provide the app’s core functionality (Earbud control, Equalizer, Find My Device, and AI Noise modes).
A. Microphone Data (Audio Recording)
Airvibe requires Microphone permission solely for the “AI Mode” and “Smart Scene” features.
- Usage: To measure ambient noise levels (decibels) in real-time to automatically adjust volume or equalizer settings.
- Privacy Guarantee: Audio is processed locally on your device. We do not record, save, store, or upload your audio data to any server. It is strictly used for real-time analysis and immediately discarded after processing.
B. Bluetooth & Location Data
We require Bluetooth Connect/Scan and Fine Location permissions.
- Usage: To detect, pair, and communicate with your “Buds Tone” or other supported earbuds.
- Android Requirement: On Android 11 and older devices, “Location” permission is technically required by the Android operating system to perform Bluetooth scanning. We do not track, store, or share your physical GPS location.
C. Notification Access (Media Playback)
- Usage: The App requests Notification Access solely to display the currently playing media (Track Name and Artist) within the app’s media controller.
- Privacy Guarantee: The App does not read, store, or transmit personal notifications, messages, or emails.
2. Third-Party Services
We may use third-party services that collect information used to identify you. The data collected by these services is governed by their own privacy policies.
- Google Play Services: Used for app distribution, updates, and core system functionality.
- Firebase (Google): Used for Cloud Messaging (Push Notifications) and Crashlytics (App Stability Reporting).
- Ad Networks: If applicable, we may display advertisements to support development. These networks may use your Advertising ID to serve non-personalized or personalized ads based on your settings.
3. Find My Earbuds Feature
The “Find My Earbuds” feature plays a high-frequency sound through the connected Bluetooth device to help you locate it. This action is triggered locally by you. We do not store the location history of your earbuds on our servers.
4. Children’s Privacy
Our Services do not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we immediately delete this from our servers. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us.
